Fatal Stabbing In Mercer County Leaves 1 Dead, Prosecutor Says

No arrests have been made and investigation is ongoing, officials said.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A 48-year-old Hamilton man died after being stabbed on Wednesday evening in Trenton, Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey said.

Around 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Jermaine Scott arrived via private vehicle at Capital Health Regional Medical Center with a stab wound to the abdomen.

Scott was rushed into surgery, but succumbed to his injuries a short time later, Marbrey said.

No arrests have been made. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force (MCHTF) and the Trenton Police Department are investigating.
