Mercer County Summer Concert Series, 1638 Old Trenton Rd West Windsor, 6 p.m.
The second in a four-part Summer Concert Series features Shorty Long and the Jersey Horns. Come out and enjoy a great night as the sun sets over Lake Mercer. Shorty Long and the Jersey Horns have been one of the most popular Jersey Shore bands for many years. The band will have you dancing to tunes from the 80s, 90s, to today’s hits. Beer and Wine garden on site. Food available for purchase.
Mr. Malcolm Presents Snow White and Bob the Builder, Lawrence Library, 2751 Route 1, Lawrence Township, 2 p.m.
A fun afternoon of stories from Mr. Malcolm. "Dig into" the stories of Snow White and Bob the Builder. Come ready to participate in the fun. Suggested for children ages 2 and up.

Cryan Tennis Tournament, 1638 Old Trenton Rd West Windsor, noon.
The James E. Cryan Memorial Tennis Tournament takes place in the beautiful Mercer County Park Tennis Facility. The tournament was established in 1965 and honors Mr. Cryan for his contributions to the sport of tennis in Trenton.Â
Screenwriting Workshop, Lawrence Library, 2751 Route 1, Lawrence Township, 1 p.m.
This series of two workshops with local screenwriter, Mark Violi, will focus on “Scene & Dialogue” (week one), and “Marketing. Preparing your finished script for success” (week two). Students are invited to bring in the first three pages of their scripts for analysis and suggestions. Registration is required.
The Home Depot Hurricane Preparedness Workshops, All Trenton Area Home Depot Stores, 10 a.m.
In an effort to equip residents in storm prone regions for the upcoming hurricane season, Home Depot stores in the area will host hurricane preparedness workshops on Saturday from 10 - 11:30 a.m. The Home Depot experts will cover critical hurricane readiness topics, such as storm prep projects, generator safety, sizing generators for specific home or business needs and assembling disaster preparedness kits.
