April 14-15 is Art & Wine Weekend at Terhune Orchards

Terhune Orchards will raise a glass to local artists on April 14 and 15 in partnership with the Delaware River Valley Wine Trail. Visitors at Terhune Orchards Vineyard and Winery, Old York Cellars, Unionville Vineyards, and Hopewell Valley Vineyards can enjoy a variety of art while they sample wines at each winery.

At Terhune Orchards, visitors can view more than 20 works of art from local artists. will be displaying paintings, water colors, sculptures and more. Some items will be for sale.

The event includes fun for all ages, with special activities led by the director of the artists network from 1-3 p.m. both days. Special discount for arts and wine weekend for the adults: Buy two or more bottles of wine, get 10 percent off.

A cooperative of local artists started a little over two years ago by Lawrenceville Main Street and the artists, the artists network fosters art appreciation in the community and involves the community in the arts. April's Second Saturday Artists Open House at the Artists Network Gallery and Gift Shop, 2683 Main St. in Lawrence Township, from 4-7 p.m. will feature artwork speaking to the theme of Art, Wine, and Nature Trails. 

Refreshments will be served and the Network Artists will be on hand to discuss their work. 

This Second Saturday Open House will coordinate with the Delaware Valley Wine Trail Weekend simultaneously hosted at Terhune Orchards, where, in addition to their artwork at the Gallery, the network artists will display works celebrating the Lawrence-Hopewell Trail.
