Conn. Woman Charged With Marijuana Possession
The arrest came after a motor vehicle stop outside of Rider University.

A 19-year-old woman from Darien, Conn. was arrested on April 23 after police made a motor vehicle stop and discovered that she was in possession of marijuana.
Emily Elliot was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia (pipe).

The incident happened shortly before midnight on Tuesday. Lawrence Police Off. Mejia stopped a vehicle outside of Rider University for a motor vehicle violation. The officer smelled marijuana and discovered that Elliot, a front seat passenger, had it.
Elliot was released on a summons.
