Correction: No Bed Bug Problem at County Libraries
"No branch of the Mercer County Library System has ever received a report of bed bugs" ~ Mercer County spokeswoman Julie Willmot

, Lawrenceville Patch incorrectly reported that the Mercer County Library System was having an issue with bed bugs getting into libraries via books returned from infested homes.
A representative from the Mercer County Health Department, speaking about bed bug prevention during a seminar given at the Lawrence Township branch of the county library system, was speaking about libraries in general and not specifically about the Mercer County Library System when she noted that bed bugs sometimes hide in books.
“No branch of the Mercer County Library System has ever received a report of bed bugs,” Mercer County spokeswoman Julie Willmot said. “The speaker who led the talk aimed at agencies that deal with public spaces discussed how to identify, prevent and combat bed bugs, including public gathering spots such as libraries in general.”
