The partnership received a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation New Jersey Health Initiatives to conduct a community needs assessment, which will ultimately lead towards a coordinated healthcare and community health improvement plan.
The goal is to develop and encourage collaboration among various organizations.
As New Jersey Hospital Association President and CEO Betsy Ryan stated, “Knowing your community and its unique health needs is essential to providing the best possible healthcare services. This information also is critical for effectively allocating scarce resources, especially in the current economic climate.”
There is no charge for the event and it is open to everyone. Refreshments will be served. Pre-registration is required at http://www.uwgmc.org/health-needs or by calling Toni Lewis (609) 637-4906 or email antonia.lewis@uwgmc.org.
