Ice Cream Fundraiser to Benefit Operation Smile Club
The fundraiser to be held at the Puple Cow ice cream shop in Lawrence Township from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 2, will benefit the Lawrence High School club that sends student volunteers across the globe to help children in need.
The Lawrence High School Operation Smile Club will hold a fundraiser at the Purple Cow ice cream shop at 2685 Main St. (Route 206) in Lawrence Township tomorrow, Saturday, June 2.
Fifteen percent of all purchases made at Purple Cow between 11:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. will be donated to the Operation Smile Club.
As part of the club, founded at Lawrence High School in 1993, student volunteers travel across the globe to support medical teams from the international Operation Smile organization that provide free surgeries to children in developing nations to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities.
