Lawrence BOE Appoints New Principal For Slackwood Elementary School
Ebony Lattimer will be taking over from Jeanne Muzi.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The Lawrence Township Board of Education recently appointed Ebony Lattimer as the new principal of Slackwood Elementary School.
Lattimer has more than 20 years of experience in education, with a proven track record of creating equitable learning communities for each child.
She will be taking over from Jeanne Muzi who will step into the new role of Director of Student Achievement, Equity, and Opportunity.

With a background in science and inclusion, Lattimer has honed her skills in the Multi-Tiered System of Supports and Restorative Justice, consistently delivering increased academic achievement and expanding a sense of belonging and community in the school environment. Her enthusiasm for education is matched only by her eagerness to collaborate, innovate, and drive meaningful change.
Lattimer completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh and graduate degree at Georgian Court University. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her three children and serving her community through her various community service organizations, including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, and the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa.
