A building fire in Lawrenceville has prompted delays on a major highway Friday morning, officials said.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - A building fire in Lawrence has prompted delays on a major highway Friday morning, officials said.
As of 5:39 a.m., there’s a building fire on Route 206 in both directions from Cold Soil Road to CR 569/Carter Road in Lawrence Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
All lanes are closed, the DOT said. There is currently a 5- to 10-minute delay.

Ewing-based Prospect Heights Volunteer Fire Company reported a dwelling fire on the 3000 block of Lawrenceville Road on US 206 around 5 a.m., according to a Facebook post.
It was not immediately clear how severe the building fire was or if there were any reported injuries.
