The company's mission focuses on discovering, developing, and delivering innovative medicines that help patients prevail over serious diseases. Beyond its pharmaceutical work, BMS demonstrates its commitment to being a good neighbor by supporting and strengthening the communities where its employees live and work.

This commitment takes shape through BMS's support of local programs, initiatives, and organizations that improve health and wellness, promote and expand STEM education, and deliver basic human services through various community giving activities.

In 2024 alone, BMS provided more than $100,000 in grants to Lawrence Township. These resources have funded STEM education programs in public schools and helped the Police Department and First Aid Squad purchase new CPR and defibrillator devices, among other vital community initiatives.

The proclamation ceremony celebrated not just the company's financial contributions, but also its enduring partnership with Lawrence Township that has spanned over half a century.
