Lawrence’s Cafe Du Pain Closes, Will Become Braulio’s Bakery

The Creole French bakery has been taken over by new management and will reopen as Braulio's Bakery.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — Cafe Du Pain, the Creole French bakery located in Lawrence Shopping Center has now closed.

The last day of operation was July 6.

The space will now transition to Braulio’s Bakery, owner Marie Onyeani said.

Cafe Du Pain was founded and operated by Onyeani.

“Our journey has been filled with unforgettable moments of joy, excitement, challenges, and invaluable learning experiences,” Onyeani said.

Braulio’s Bakery serves Latin American baked goods, pastries and food. They have locations in Trenton and Columbus, NJ.

An opening date for the new business is yet to be announced.
