Lawrence Science and Engineering Fair Announced
A science and engineering fair for Lawrence Township students in Grades 4 through 8 will take place on Feb. 25, 2012. Mandatory informational sessions for parents and students will take place tonight, Dec. 13, and also on Jan. 5.

On-line registration for the Lawrence Science and Engineering Fair is open until Jan. 25.
This year, the fair has expanded to include Lawrence Township Public School students in the Intermediate School (grades 4 – 6) and the Middle School (grades 7 – 8). A link to the registration form can be found on the Lawrence Township Public Schools website (www.ltps.org) on both the Lawrence Intermediate and Middle School pages and at the fair homepage.

Two information sessions will be held, the first on Tuesday, Dec. 13, and the second on Thursday, Jan. 5, at 7 p.m. in the Lawrence Intermediate School Library.
All students interested in participating and their parents are encouraged to attend one of the two sessions. During these sessions, organizers will be available to answer questions, provide additional details about the fair and discuss potential projects.

The Lawrence Science and Engineering Fair will take place on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Lawrence Intermediate School, 66 Eggerts Crossing Rd.
In addition to the student’s projects, there will be hands-on demonstrations providing interactive fun for all attendees. Registration and admission are free. Refreshments will be available for sale during the event.
