Lawrenceville Elementary School Winter Concert

Students in Grades 1-3 took part in the Dec. 14 concert of holiday music.

Music filled the air at Lawrenceville Elementary School on Dec. 14 for the school’s annual winter holiday concert under the direction of Music Director Rebecca Young. Children in Grades 1-3 performed musical selections based on the theme of “Ring in the Season.”

Festive songs focusing on diversity, unity, and spreading joy were featured, spreading the school’s character education mission.

The all-purpose room was adorned with bells created by the children and art specialist Maria Raimondo.

Physical education teacher Ed Francis directed the choreography, lighting and sound. Jason Bembry, former LES student and current sophomore at Lawrence High School, provided the accompaniment on the piano while the children sang, danced, played rhythm instruments and played the chimes.
