LMS Teams Claim Top Spots at Silent Film Exposition

Eighth-grade students in the Enrichment Challenge Program at Lawrence Middle School recently participated in a Silent Film Exposition held at Burlington County Community College in Mount Laurel.
Two student teams from Orion and Phoenix showed their silent movies, based on this year's exposition theme, "Scary Stuff," to a panel of peer judges.

To earn award points, the teams had to create original movies between 2-5 minutes long and had to include several required elements, including specific objects and sound effects.
Both teams received the exposition's highest award, the Silver Award, which honors the teams' collaborative efforts. The teams were judged on advertising, presentation, validation, elaboration, and technology.

Participating students were Laura Bentivegna, Sydnee Gould, Eryn Lampkin, Jane Lin, David Michaelson, Jenna Newman, and Sophie Webster.
