LTEF Awards Grants for STEAM Projects, Jazz Program

The library at LMS Nation is set to receive a new addition. A grant from the Lawrence Township Education Foundation (LTEF) was awarded to Eileen Cramer, Jon-Erik Stamatelos and Jennifer Skorupa. The grant, called "MakerSpace @ the Library: Encouraging STEAM," is intended to provide a flexible and inspirational environment to for students throughout Lawrence Township to engage in a variety of STEAM projects.

Previously, the LTEF awarded Sharin Rello, Allison Kershner and Maggie Kehoe with a grant called "Giant Steps for Jazz!" This grant is intended to strengthen the jazz program within the Lawrence Township school district by adding jazz equipment to the program in addition to funding for a guest artist. with funding for a guest artist.
