Man Pulled Gun In Dorm On Rider University Campus, Police Say
The man brought a gun during a confrontation between two parties on campus, police said.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — A 20-year-old Florham Park resident was arrested and charged for bringing a gun to Rider University campus during a confrontation, police said Tuesday.
On Sunday, around 11:06 p.m., the Lawrence Township Police Department received a report of an individual in possession of a firearm at Olson Dormitory on the campus of Rider University.
When officers arrived, they met with Rider University Public Safety and began securing the area.

According to investigation, the incident involved a confrontation between two parties and was isolated in nature, police said.
Jordan Greene, 20, of Florham Park, fled the scene before police arrived. Greene was criminally charged with trespassing, aggravated assault and weapons offenses.

There were no injuries as a result of this incident, and authorities have confirmed that there was no ongoing threat to the campus or to other students.
