Man Shot Twice In Mercer County, Police Say

The shooting occurred late Saturday night in the area of West Farrell Avenue, police said.

EWING TOWNSHIP, NJ — A 34-year-old man was brought to the hospital on Saturday night after being shot in the chest and hand, Ewing Township Police told Patch.

Around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to a call from a resident who heard gunshots in the area of West Farrell Avenue.

Once officers responded to the scene, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to the torso and hand.

Police then brought him to Capital Health Regional Hospital, where he was last reported in stable condition. Authorities did not release further information on the victim’s identity.

Detectives from the Ewing Police Criminal Investigations Bureau are actively investigating the incident. As of Monday morning, police said no further details are being released.
