Mercer Co. Prosecutor Appoints New Multidisciplinary Team Coordinator

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey announced the promotion of Keiondria Rainey to multidisciplinary team (MDT) coordinator for the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.

Rainey was hired in 1998 as a member of the clerical staff and has spent her entire career with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office. She was transferred to the Office of Victim Witness Advocacy in October 2012 where she has worked in various units including special victims, grand jury and trial, and homicide.

She has served as the supervising victim advocate in the office since January 2024.

In her new role as MDT coordinator, Rainey will oversee the involvement of the multidisciplinary team, which comprises local law enforcement, prosecutors, advocates, medical/mental health providers, and therapists, in its critical work with crimes against children.

She will also be involved in areas of program development and administration, training, case management, and any other related duties.

Rainey graduated from Rider University with a bachelor’s degree in law & justice. She continued her education and earned a master’s degree in organizational management and leadership from Springfield College and a master’s degree in non-profit management and leadership from Capella University.
