Ex-Boyfriend Charged With Murder In Shooting Death Of Mercer Mom, Her Daughter
Bahin Lynch, 45, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and other offenses, authorities said.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A 45-year-old Trenton man shot his ex-girlfriend and her teenage daughter to death last weekend, Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey and Trenton Police Director Steve Wilson said Thursday.
Bahin Lynch, 45, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, one count of second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, one count of first-degree unlawful possession of a weapon and one count of second-degree certain persons not to possess a firearm.
Lynch was the ex-boyfriend of Malika Whiting, 40, who was found dead at a Trenton home last weekend, along with her teen daughter, Marbrey said.

Around 10:30 a.m. on April 12, Trenton police responded to a residence in the 300 block of West State Street after receiving a 911 call reporting two dead victims.
On arrival, officers found 13-year-old Jairah Biggs in a third-floor bedroom suffering a gunshot wound and Whiting on the stairway leading to the third floor, also suffering a gunshot wound. Both mother and daughter were pronounced dead at the scene, Marbrey said.

Lynch is currently incarcerated in the Mercer County Correction Center. The prosecutor’s office will file a motion to detain Lynch pending trial.
