According to Lawrence Township Police, the incident happened on Saturday, April 27 at 6:53 p.m.

Kamara allegedly stuffed men's polos and pants- totaling $527- into an American Eagle shopping bag after removing the sensors, police said. His eight-year-old daughter was with him and allegedly picked up a shirt and handed it to her father to steal. Two loss prevention officers saw Kamara and tried to take him into custody, but Kamara resisted and all three ended up scuffling on the floor before Kamara could be apprehended.

A further investigation revealed that Kamara had $294 worth of stolen Macy's clothing in his vehicle.

Kamara was also charged with trespassing, because police said he was in violation of a court order prohibiting him from returning to any Macy's store.

The Division of Youth and Family Services responded to the incident and allowed Kamara's daughter to be turned over to another family member.

Kamara was taken to Mercer County Corrections Center in lieu of $154,750 bail.
