New Jersey International Film Festival Begins Today

The summer film festival at Rutgers University will run through June 17 and will premier 27 films.

The New Jersey International Film Festival will feature a mix of feature films, documentaries, animation and experimental films as the 17th annual summer film festival brgins today and runs through June 17 at Rutgers University.

The festival is sponsored by the Rutgers Film Co-op/New Jersey Media Arts Center, along with the Rutgers University Program In Cinema Studies, Jungle Software,  Johnson & Johnson, Media Services, New Brunswick City Market, Jimmy  Johns, and Eastman Kodak. according to a press release from festival organizers.

The 27 films to be features were chosen by a panel of judges from more than 323 entries, according to organizers.

The festival's primary screening location will be Room 105 in Voorhees Hall, a film screening room with stadium seating, surround sound and high definition projection. Select nights will have promotions, including free food and discounts at restaurants in New Brunswick.
