Off-Duty NJ Cop Watched Porn While Following Child, Woman In Store: Complaint

The off-duty cop, who lives in Mercer, committed lewd acts on two different dates at two different locations, according to the complaint.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ – An off-duty police officer was watching porn on his phone while he followed a 11-year-old and a woman around a store in South Plainfield last month, according to the complaint.

Wesley Kliwinski, 37, a Piscataway Township police officer who lives in Hamilton, was arrested and charged on Thursday with third-degree endangering the welfare of a child by engaging in sexual conduct, fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, and harassment, which is classified as a petty disorderly person’s offense.

According to the complaint, Kliwinski followed the child and woman around a department store on April 29 “exhibiting an erection.”

Surveillance obtained from another department store on April 22, showed Kliwinski exhibiting the same behavior, in view of several people, the complaint said.

Police said Kliwinski admitted to being in both locations on April 22 and 29, and walking around with an erection.
