Notre Dame Students Allegedly Caught With Drugs
Lawrence Township police said they responded to Notre Dame High School after staff at the parochial school allegedly caught two students with marijuana on Thursday.

Two students who were allegedly caught with marijuana while at school were arrested on Thursday (May 24), Lawrence Township Police Department spokesman Lt. Mark Ubry confirmed today. Â Â
Officer Iwona Smith and Detective Dave Burns responded to the parochial school in the 600 block of Lawrence Road (Route 206) after school administrators called police at 9:06 a.m. Thursday after staff allegedly found the students with the marijuana, Ubry said.
He said the students – a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy – were taken into custody, brought to the police station to have their arrests processed, and later released to the custody of their parents.

The teenagers were charged as juveniles with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, he said.
In addition to the criminal charge against them, the students will likely face disciplinary proceedings through the school, he said
