Obituary: Anna D. Fritz, 84

Anna D. Fritz, 84, of East Windsor, died Tuesday, May 8, at the University Medical Center at Princeton.

Born in Manhattan, N.Y., Anna was a resident of Lawrence Township for over 40 years prior to moving to Meadow Lakes in East Windsor.

She was a retiree of the Lawrence Township Board of Education where she was employed in the accounting department. She also worked at Notre Dame High School and volunteered for the Church of Saint Ann at the Rectory.

Anna was a member of the Church of Saint Ann, the Altar Rosary Society at the church and was a past president of the Saint Ann’s School PTA.

Daughter of the late Bernard and Beatrice Frayne Donohue, mother of the late Martin Fritz and sister of the late Patrick B. and John T. Donohue, she is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles J. Fritz; her children, Christina Sellers and her husband Jack, Carleen Knauf and her husband Duane, and Gerard Fritz and his wife Valerie; her brother, Matthew Donohue; her sister, Winnifred McDowell; 10 grandchildren; and her many caregivers at Meadow Lakes.

Anna’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 15, beginning at 10 a.m. at , 650 Lawrence Rd., Lawrence Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at the . Burial will follow in the Lawrenceville Cemetery.

Friends may call on Monday, may 14, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Altar Rosary Society will hold services at 6 p.m..
