Obituary: Eugene Wierzbicki, 87

An army veteran of World War II, he lived in Lawrence Township most of his life.

Eugene Wierzbicki, 87, of Lawrence Township, died on Friday, Dec. 16, at RWJ University Medical Center at Hamilton.

Born in Trenton, he was a Lawrence resident most of his life.

He was a World War II veteran having served in the Army.

Wierzbicki was an active member of The Church of St. Ann. He was past quartermaster of the Lawrence post 3022 Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a member of the American Legion Post 414.

Son of the late Elias and Elsie Kusek Wierzbicki, he is survived by his loving wife Blanche Szeliga Wierzbicki; his two daughters and sons-in-law Christine and Paul Koprucki, and Linda and Warren Winter; his grandchildren Elizabeth, John and Michael Koprucki, and Russell Winter; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Dec. 22, at 11 Am at , 1253 Lawrenceville Rd., Lawrence.

Friends may call on Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the daily chapel of the church. Burial will be in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Faith Development Center, 1253 Lawrenceville Rd., Lawrenceville, N.J. 08648.
