Obituary: Louise MacMillan Pinelli, 87

A retired book guilder, she lived in Lawrence Township for 52 years.

Louise MacMillan Pinelli, 87, of Lawrence Township died Friday, Dec. 16, at home with her family at her side.

Born in Teachey, N.C., Louise had resided in Lawrence for 52 years.

She was a retired book guilder with Smith Bookbinding in Princeton.

Daughter of the late Henry and Louise Bland MacMillan and beloved wife of the late Claude David Pinelli to whom she was married to for 61 years, Louise is survived by her loving children Constance Ireland and her husband Richard, Cheryl Tandy and her husband John, and C. David Pinelli Jr.

Also surviving are her grandchildren Lisa Ireland, Christopher Tandy and his wife Marcie, Jennifer Tandy, Cynthia Daub and her husband Steve, C. David Pinelli III and his wife Laurie, and Dyana Mullins and her husband Brandon, her great grandchildren Devin, Kyle and Michael Tandy, Caroline and Ian Daub, Jacob and Ryan Mullins, and Colin, Haley and Amanda Pinelli and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 10 a.m. from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Rd., Lawrence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Mercerville.

Entombment will be in the Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery Mausoleum in Hamilton Township.

Family and friends may call on Monday, Dec. 19, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Louise’s memory may be made to the Embracing Hospice Care, 109 S. Main St., Cranbury, N.J. 08512 or to the Mercer Street Friends, 7 Dunmore Ave., Ewing, N.J. 08618.
