Obituary: Ruth K. Ibbotson, 93

Ruth K. Ibbotson, 93, of Lawrence Township passed away Thursday, May 3, at Brandywine Assisted Living, Pennington.

Born in Jersey City, she was a retired executive secretary for the National Lutheran Council in New York City. She was a member of Abiding Presence Lutheran Church in Ewing.

Daughter of the late Frederick and Anna Adler Kreher and wife of the late Francis A. Ibbotson, she is survived by a daughter, Carol Ruth Manikin of Lawrence; two grandchildren, Geoffrey S. and his wife Patricia Rhea,  and Stoddard C. and his wife Andrea Kendall; and four great-grandchildren, Lucas, Samantha, Haley and Benjamin.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 11, at 11 a.m. at the Abiding Presence Lutheran Church, 2220 Pennington Rd., Ewing, with the Rev. Daniel Whitener pastor officiating. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.

Friends may call Thursday, May 10, from 7-9 p.m. at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Rd., Pennington.
