The foundation will use proceeds from the concert to provide charity care to the patients and residents of St. Mary’s Assisted Living Center and St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing Center at Morris Hall and St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center.
The facilities, including the 166-bed, not-for-profit physical rehabilitation hospital, are located on grounds at the corner of Lawrence Road (Route 206) and Lawrenceville-Pennington Road in Lawrence Township.

Many students from around Mercer County will have the opportunity to attend the concert with tickets provided by corporate sponsors.
Philly Pops musicians will also present music programs in several area schools that will help enrich the student’s knowledge and appreciation of music.
Darlene Hanley, president and CEO of Morris Hall/St. Lawrence, said in a news release that in addition to providing funds for The Foundation, the event’s goals include “exposing the public, and especially children, to the enduring value of good music.”
Nero recorded his first album in 1961 and won a Grammy that year for “Best New Artist.” Since then, he has earned another Grammy Award, garnered a total of 10 Grammy nominations and recorded 67 albums.
