Drum Circle, Lawrence Township Public Library, 4:30 p.m.
Ange Chianese of Mercer County’s Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Entertainers will facilitate this beginner’s drum circle. Refreshments served. Registration is suggested.
Tuesday
Terhune Orchards Read and Pick Program: Pumpkins, Terhune Orchards, Lawrenceville, 9:30 a.m.
Read and Pick is a program that combines picking with your young child and listening to a story highlighting the crop. Parents and young children (ages preschool to 8-years old) are welcome to celebrate everything wonderful about pumpkins on Oct. 8 at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. They will be reading two books about pumpkins. Then everyone will pick his or her own decorative pumpkins. The cost is $7 per child and includes the pumpkin. Registration is requested. Call 609-924-2310 to register.

Bully-Proofing Yourself and Your Kids, 635 Quakerbridge Road (directly across from Princeton BMW), Hamilton, 7:30 p.m.
Free seminar at Sylvan Learning Center of Hamilton about bully proofing your life. Dinner will be provided.

BYOB Cooking Class: Breast Healthy Meals, Mrs. G TV & Appliances, 2960 US Highway 1, Lawrenceville, 6 p.m.
For this Breast Cancer Awareness Month class, Mrs. G's Appliance Chef Mary Beth Madill will discuss how diet and exercise can reduce your risk of breast cancer. She will also prepare lentil and vegetable stew, roasted salmon served with wheatberry salad, edamame hummus and crispy baked kale chips, and triple berry crisp. $20 per person; registration in advance is required. Must be 21-years old or older to attend. Attendees will receive a $20 coupon towards a purchase of $300 or more at Mrs. G's, and can combine the offer with other promotions.
