Quaker Road Will Not Reopen for Another 8-10 Days
The delay is due to unanticipated weather conditions.

Quaker Road, which was anticipated to reopen April 1, will remain closed until at least next week, Mercer County Deputy Director of Communications Michael Boonin said Monday.Â
The bridge will not reopen for another eight to 10 days. The delay is due to unexpected weather conditions, Boonin said.

Quaker Road has been closed between Province Line Road and Mercer Road/Princeton Pike since August, 2012Â to reconstruct the bridge over Stony Brook.Â
The road was initially expected to open by Feb. 18 but weather delays, especially after Hurricane Sandy, extended the construction schedule.
