Rec Dept. Spring/Summer Brochure Now Available
The brochure details the many programs, services and events offered by the Lawrence Township Recreation Department.
The Lawrence Township Recreation Department's 2013 Spring and Summer Brochure is now available online via the township's website or the Patch media box to the right.
The brochure is packed with information about the recreation department's many offerings, including health lectures at the Lawrence Senior Center, the township's Community Garden program, and the Lawrence Community Band.
Information and schedules about tennis and swim instruction are included, along with the hours and fees for use of the pool at Lawrence High School. Registration information is also presented for other sports programs and clinics and summer camps like Safety Town.

Lawrence Township will observe Earth Day Saturday, May 11, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lawrence Nature Center with exhibits, demonstrations and activities pertaining to our natural environment that surrounds us.

The annual Memorial Day Parade will step off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 25. Members of American Legion Post 414, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3022 and the 112th Field Artillery Association will conduct Memorial Services in Lawrence Veterans Park at the conclusion of the parade.
Independence Day will be observed in Lawrence Township on Friday, July 5, on the grounds of Rider University. The fireworks beginning at approximately 9:40 p.m. will be preceded by a concert at 7 p.m.
