Rider Assistant Dean Gives Personal Finance Lesson

John Farrell, assistant dean of graduate programs in the College of Business Administration at Rider University, presented the class to seventh- and eighth-grade students at Trenton Catholic Academy.

John Farrell, assistant dean of graduate programs in the College of Business Administration at Rider University, presented a class about    personal finance to seventh- and eighth-grade students at Trenton Catholic Academy in Hamilton Township on March 30.

The presentation, entitled “Managing Your Money ... It’s Up to You,” focused on financial responsibility and planning, saving and money management.

Farrell also encouraged the students to establish a checking or savings account, seek job possibilities to earn money, set financial goals and have the right attitude when handling personal finances.
