Rider Runners Run Over Domestic Violence
Fourth Annual Run Over Violence 5K race will be held this Saturday at Rider University's Lawrence Township campus.
Domestic violence gets run over at this April, where the student organization the Rider Runners will be holding its Fourth Annual Run Over Violence 5K race.
The event fundraises for Womanspace, a local shelter for victims of domestic violence. Several other student organizations, including the Student Government Association, and some local businesses have agreed to sponsor the event.
"It's a great way to raise awareness for a great cause," said Louis Chebetar, president of the Rider Runners. "It also provides an opportunity to network."
