Boy scouts from Lawrence Township Trooper 28 visited the firm of Taylor Wiseman & Taylor in Mount Laurel.

Editor's Note: The following is a news release issued by Lawrence Township Boy Scout Trooper 28.
The skill of surveying requires knowledge in algebra, geometry, mechanical drawing and computer science, and Boy Scouts from Troop 28 were invited to participate in the Surveying Merit Badge Day on May 5 at the firm of Taylor Wiseman & Taylor of Mount Laurel, N.J.
The Surveying merit badge is one of the original 57 Merit Badges issued by the Boy Scouts of America in 1911, and is considered an elective Merit Badge to be earned on the path to Eagle Scout.

On their visit to Taylor Wiseman & Taylor, the boys interacted with professional licensed surveyors, survey technicians and crew chiefs from the firm, who guided them through various stations. Boys were required to submit a copy of an actual property deed in order to gain hands-on experience on how to perform an authentic survey.
Attending were Cody Anderson, Garrett Monfre, Noah Hotz and Mathew Molinaros.
