Senior Theater Troupe Brings Local Stories Via Live Performance At Lawrence Library

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — OnStage Seniors, a distinctive theater ensemble sponsored by Princeton's Center for Modern Aging, specializes in transforming authentic stories from Central New Jersey communities into powerful monologues and dramatic scenes.
Under the direction of playwright David White, this year's production explores the theme "How Did I Get Here?" It examines the pivotal moments and unexpected turns that shape lives.
The ensemble will bring their thought-provoking performance to the Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library System on Friday, Oct. 3, from 3 to 4 p.m.

This marks one of 12-15 annual performances the group presents at venues throughout the region, each designed to build bridges of understanding through the universal power of storytelling.

This performance receives support from the Friends of the Lawrence Library, a volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing library programming. They sponsor diverse initiatives, including book sales, reading clubs, contests, craft sessions, special events, guest speakers, and educational workshops for adults, while also funding character visits, entertainment, crafts, and parties for young library patrons.
