The event begins with "Bad Auditions By Bad Actors," a one-act play by Ian McWethy.

In this comedy, a casting director hosts a day of auditions to find the two leads for her production of Romeo and Juliet. However, to her dismay, what ensues is a series of crazy and horrible auditions. It promises to be a fun and lively show!

A variety of musical acts will be interspersed throughout the event, and a solo dance performance will also be performed. The silent art auction will close the event.

Five years ago, the NJTAC fundraiser was founded by 19-year-old Katie Welsh in response to witnessing several close family members succumb to cancer. She has served in the capacity of organizer and producer of the event since its conception.

In speaking for the group, she shared the spirit behind NJTAC:  “We are a group of artists who want to make a difference in the community. We perform and create art with the hope that one day a cure for cancer will be found.”

One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

No reservations are needed.  Admission is by donation, with a suggested donation of $10.
