Terhune Orchards Host Farm to Table Fundraiser
Attendees will enjoy a seven-course meal with wine pairing, cocktails, and music.

Terhune Orchards will play host to Sustainable Fare for Sustainable Jersey, a fundraiser to benefit Sustainable Jersey this week.
Local chefs and farms will come together to celebrate the Farm to Table movement and promote awareness about sustainability efforts while raising money for Sustainable New Jersey's programs.
"Support for Sustainable Jersey has become critical to the progress many towns have made in advancing environmental stewardship and healthy communities," Terhune Orchards owner Pam Mound said. "The night will be a celebration of local food and the chefs, restaurants and farms who are known for their dedication to focusing on fresh local ingredients. It will be a deliciously fun evening for a good cause."
Guests will enjoy a seven-course meal with wine pairing, cocktails, and music by the Riverside Band in the new Terhune Barn that was build by the Amish. The following chefs have donated their time and talent for this event: Christopher Albrecht, Eno Terra, Scott Anderson, Elements/Mistral, Aaron Philipson, Blue Bottle Café, Jonathan Benno, Lincoln Restaurant, Josh Thomsen, Agricola, Christine Merker, Meals For Reals and Gabby Carabone, The Bent Spoon.
The Farm to Table benefit will take place on Thursday, with cocktails served starting at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $150 per person and can be purchased at www.sustainablejersey.com.
Sustainable Jersey, a non-profit, runs a certification program that empowers towns to build a better world for present and future generations. The program provides a road-map towns can follow to initiate and promote sustainable actions that improve the quality of life.Â
More than 350 towns have registered to become a part of the program that was founded by the New Jersey League of Municipalities, The College of New Jersey, the State of New Jersey and hundreds of volunteers from around the state.
