Township Easter Egg Hunt to be Held Saturday

Lawrence Township's 2012 Spring and Summer recreation program brochure is available. Registrations are currently being accepted for many programs, including Cheerleading, Lacrosse, Safe Sitter, Safety Town, Summer Camps, Swimming and Tennis.

The Lawrence Township Recreation Department will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 7, beginning at 10 a.m. sharp at Central Park on Eggerts Crossing Road.

  • The recreation department’s 2012 Spring and Summer program brochure is available from the township’s website or from the Patch media box to the right.
  • Individuals and groups interested in taking part in this year’s Memorial Day parade are encouraged to register via the township’s website. The parade has been rescheduled and will now be held on Saturday, May 19, one week earlier than normal
  • Registrations are currently being accepted for Cheerleading, Lacrosse, Rookie Ball, Safe Sitter, Safety Town, Stroke & Turn workout, Summer Camps, Swim Lessons and Tennis Instruction.
  • The recreation department this year will implement “Quick Start Tennis” for youth instruction as recommended by the United States Tennis Association (USTA). On Saturday, April 28, the department will hold registration and demonstrate what the new program is all about. Contests and giveaways will also be held.   • The Lawrence High School pool will be closed Friday, April 6, Saturday, April 7, and Monday, April 9. The pool will reopen on Tuesday, April 10, at 6 p.m.
