Woman Killed Following Car Crash In Mercer County: Police

The driver and passenger were ejected from the vehicle in the crash, police said.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ - A woman was killed and a man injured following a single-car crash in Robbinsville on Sunday.

Around 12:54 a.m. on Sunday, Robbinsville Police received a report of a crash on Robbinsville- Allentown Road at the intersection of Main Street.

The driver, a 36-year-old man from Pennsauken was ejected from the vehicle and was found on the ground a short distance away, police said.

The passenger, a 37-year-old woman from Pennsauken was also ejected from the vehicle and partially pinned under the vehicle once it came to rest, police said.

Both were taken to the hospital, and the woman succumbed to her injuries.

The crash is being investigated by Sgt. James Moore of the Robbinsville Township Police Department along with the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.
