• Couple arrested in rental car theft after police chase (shorenewsnetwork.com) — Leonia police used an automated license plate reader to help stop a stolen rental SUV on Grand Avenue, leading to the arrest of a couple now facing theft and related charges. The vehicle, overdue from an Oakland rental agency, was recovered after the driver pulled over in Palisades Park. One suspect remains in Bergen County jail while the other was released pending court.
