The Oceanport Police Department is reminding residents to lock their doors after a weekend of reported burglaries. A message on the Oceanport Police Department's Facebook page states that there were several residential and vehicle burglaries on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28 in the borough. Police are strongly advising residents to lock the doors and windows of their homes and vehicles. Police are also encouraging any residents who observe suspicious behavir to call police headquarters at 732-222-6300.
