More than 100 Holiday Express volunteers sipped wine, sampled cheese and socialized at the non-profit groups annual Volunteer Appreciation Night, held at the Holiday Express warehouse on Tuesday, April 17th. Held this week in honor or National Volunteer week, the event is just a small thank you to the legion of volunteers who donate their time and talents to Holiday Express each season.
“Holiday Express has 1,4000 volunteers who donated more than 10,000 hours of their time last year to make the season happen. The selfless giving of all our volunteers year round embodies the true spirit of the holiday season.” said Executive Director Donald Pignataro.
Established by Tim McLoone in 1993, Holiday Express is a non-profit organization. Comprised of 1,4000 volunteers, including 100 professional rock, jazz, folk, gospel and pop musicians. Holiday Express delivers music, food, gifts, financial support and friendship to those with the greatest need for the gift of human kindness during the holiday season and throughout the year.
