Book Lovers Have a Ball at Point Road [VIDEO]

There was a giant stomping through Point Road's gym Friday night. He was joined by a wimpy kid, a prairie girl, a bunch of caped superheroes in underpants and a host of other children's book characters brought to life by students for the school's annual Book Lover's Ball.

Coordinated by Eileen Fitzpatrick, the school's librarian done up like a Dorothy straight out of Oz, the event celebrated reading and capped off the school's book fair and dance week.
