Dirty Water in Oceanport, Beach Replenishment in Monmouth Beach
Several residents have complained about dirty conditions in the Shrewsbury River.

By Christopher Sheldon
We've heard multiple reports of residents complaining about dirty and smelly water in the Shrewsbury River in Oceanport.
We'll do a call out to residents to describe what they are seeing and reach out to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection to see if they have investigated it.
In other environmental news, Congressman Frank Pallone is holding a press conference in Monmouth Beach to update the public on the Jersey Shore sand replenishment project.
The project began in Monmouth Beach this month and is moving north to Sea Bright.
We'll have a full story on when the work will be completed and when other towns will begin to see their beach replenishment work begin.
