Little Silver is continuing to reach out to area residents affected by Hurricane Sandy.
The borough is hosting a local counseling service one night a week to provide free counseling provided by CPC Behavioral Healthcare, of Red Bank, according to Little Silver Mayor Robert Neff.
Representatives will be located at the Little Silver Women's Club, 111 Church St., from 5-8 p.m. every Thursday beginning June 27, except for July 4.
The service is free to all Sandy victims, Neff said.
"Trained professionals experienced in counseling vicitms of trauma and survivors of natural disasters will be on hand," Neff said in an email to Patch. "Services include mental health counseling and case management assistance for individuals and families seeking to rebuild healthy, secure lives."
For more information, or to set up an appointment, local residents are asked to call 888-671-8203. CPC's services are funded through grants from Robin Hood, AmeriCares, and the New Jersey Relief Fund.
