Locals Finish First, Second in Little Silver 5K

The Little Silver 5K was held over the weekend and local participants fared well.

Robert Cavanaugh, 35, of West Long Branch, finished the race with a time of 16:10.

Dennie Waite, 24, of Little Silver finished second and came in with a time of 16:45.

11-year-old Catherine Wimmer, 11, of Little Silver, was the top finishing female participant with a time of 19:46.
