New Jersey Natural Gas To Replace Some Little Silver Gas Meters
There is no cost for the meter replacements

LITTLE SILVER, NJ - New Jersey Natural Gas has begun exchanging some residential gas meters in the borough, according to the borough website.
The replacements of some of the meters are required by the state Board of Public Utilities. Residents will be notified if their meter is on the list. There is no cost for the meter replacement.
New Jersey Natural Gas has contracted with Precision Pipeline Solutions (PPS), a valued NJNG contractor, to perform the important safety work.

All PPS employees carry NJNG contractor photo identification. always ask to see an ID before letting anyone into your home.
"Your natural gas service must be temporarily shut off to perform this planned work," the website states.
"Once your new meter has been installed, PPS will need access to your home or business to relight your appliances. If you are not present when the work is completed, a door hanger will be left with instructions and the phone number to call for a relight."
