Oceanport Halloween Parade Coming This Weekend
The borough's Halloween festivities will be held on Sunday, Oct. 27.

A year after it was cancelled because of Hurricane Sandy, Oceanport's annual Halloween parade and party will be back this weekend.
The Oceanport Parks and Recreation Committee-created festivities will begin on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 12:15 p.m. at Community Center Park. The parade participants should arrive in costume at that time and gather at the corner of Iroquois Avenue and Tohican Place.
The costumed residents will then march down to Maple Place School for a party that will begin after the parade.
During the party, there will be refreshments, crafts and a magic show.
There will also be a costume contest for children. Prizes will be awarded to the funniest, most original, scariest and best Halloween-themed costumes.
Those with questions about the event can email the Oceanport Parks and Recreation Committee at OPRec@oceanportboro.com.
