VIDEO: New Shared Shore Regional, WLB Superintendent Introduced

New Shore Regional and West Long Branch Superintendent Tom Farrell was introduced to the public on Thursday night.

A group of teachers, administrators and even some students gathered in Shore Regional's cafeteria to welcome the districts' first-ever shared superintendent.

Farrell started his new position on Monday after serving as the principal of New Egypt High School for the last five years and said he will continue to put "students first."

Farrell replaces interim superintendent Renae LaPrete, who has served in that capacity for about a year and a half at Shore Regional.
