LITTLE SILVER, NJ — Over the Christmas holiday, between Thursday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 27, Monmouth County logged 3,521 new positive cases, a massive surge from the week before, plus two new COVID-related deaths county wide.

By 3 p.m. on Monday afternoon, Middletown Twp. announced that its COVID test site by the train station had reached capacity and could not be taking anymore walk-ins for the day.
